The latest addition to the Enj BPM suite is Enj Administration. Enj Administration is an easy to use tool that provides a unified set of easy to understand, browser-based UIs for System Administrators to manage administration of applications, databases and Enj installations.
Enj Administration supports most commonly available JDBC or ODBC compliant database. Enj Administration provides support for most System Administration functions like creation, maintenance of databases and transfer of data and objects between databases. It can help create fresh database instances on any platform and help manage its attributes. It includes support for objects such as tables, views, procedures and triggers. It can also transfer the data selectively from one table to another in the same database or across databases.
Enj Administration has powerful features for version management. It can create fresh or incremental versions of an installation. It can keep track of versions of the product deployed at different locations. It can appropriately tag and backup databases. Enj Administration also provides a powerful database comparison utility.
Enj Administration helps maintain audit trails by monitoring application logs. Application logs normally give information on system usage and transactions. Enj Administration can draw from other logs and publish this information in the form of a report in a browser. It can be used to compare files and highlight the differences between them.
Enj Administration is also closely integrated with Enj Modeler, Enj Designer and Enj Transact to assist System Administrators to manage this database and ensure the smooth operations of the application.
